External Factors

Other causes for hair loss can also be related from external factors. For example, too much pressure done to the hair by wearing too tight pigtails or getting some very tight braids like in the case of cornrows can also damage the hair resulting to hair loss. To treat this is obvious. It is not like our hair are made of nylon; hair can be very fragile at times and it can only hold too much pressure. It is really a big deal to many whether they have good hair or a bad one. This explains why the competition in the shampoo, hair loss treatment product business is hard and tough.

Hair fall of about twenty strands a day is all natural. When this happens, it is even unnoticed. If you inspect the brush that you use you will see that there are strands of hair tangled in its spikes. The fall out of hair explain why they accumulate there.

When 20 or so strands of hair falls off each day from a person is all but normal, what then is the abnormal hair loss? It is actually easy to spot whether the hair fall is normal or not. For example, if the hair falls off many times in a day and you notice it all the time, then something must be wrong about it. Another symptom is when the mildest stroke of the hands to the head can leave a strand or two on the palm. When this happens, you must aware yourself of something that must be addressed as soon as possible.

The cure to hair loss may be important but it will not be as important as the know how to prevent it in the first place. Preventing it will be more beneficial than curing it. You can just imagine being in shame of curing baldness knowing that it will really take a while to do so.

So how do you prevent excessive hair loss? What follows are some of the ways on how to prevent abnormal hair loss:

Using Mild Shampoo

Although most hair loss is attributed to the imbalance in the hormones, people are not very familiar that one of the nastiest culprit is actually the shampoo people use in their hair. What is supposed to make the hair look beautiful can sometimes be the cause of the sabotage. So if there is one lesson to learn here, it is to never believe every advertisement you see in any media about shampoos. Always check if it is mild because strong chemicals in shampoos may just be the culprit.

Excessive Brushing

Just like how a strong shampoo can damage the health of the hair, excessive brushing is also one factor of how hair can fall off fast. Brushing can indeed care for the hair but too much of it, especially if the strokes are rough and hard, can also lead to unwanted results. This means that it is a must to remember that when you brush, you brush gently.

Hot Water

Are you the kind of person who is fond of using hot water when you wash your hair? If so, it must be understood that this must be done seldom. In addition, the water that is used must never be too hot or else it will brittle the hair and will result to excessive hair fall.

Caring for the Hair and Scalp

When you care for the hair, make sure that the scalp gets cared also. Remember that the hair is rooted in the scalp so when you take care of the hair, make sure the scalp gets the same pampering.

We do not want for it to be too late and have baldness humiliate us for all the wrong reason. It is important that before hair fall happens, all the precautionary measure must be accounted for.
